Eleven drills. Build a sentence or a word from cards, choose a meaning, pick a classifier, count something, tell the time, supply the missing line of a conversation, read a map, describe a face, name a picture, point to a part. Speak opens on the course; Browse everything opens the filters if you would rather pick a category yourself.
Every Thai word can be heard. Press a speaker — on the prompt, on any card, or on the word family after you answer. The voice is Kanya, the Thai system voice.
Word families. After each answer you are shown other words built from the same piece — รองเท้า and ถุงเท้า both contain เท้า, foot. Learn the piece, get the family.
Mastery, not points. Most cards here are one pattern filled with a different word — มีเมนูไหม and มีกระเป๋าไหม are the same question. So the pattern is what you master: use it correctly with five different words and it is yours. Repetition does not count, because five goes at one sentence only proves you remember the sentence. The chip on each card shows where that pattern stands.
Words are counted the same way round. Meet a word in three different sentences and you own the word, not the sentence it sat in.
The sentence itself. A single sentence is yours after three correct answers to that same card. The dots under the prompt show how close this one is — patterns and words move faster, because every answer you give feeds them.
Checks. A mastered card leaves the rotation and comes back to be defended — after three days, then a week, three weeks, two months. Miss a check and it drops back one step, not to nothing.
